Need a hand?

Something not working the way you expected, or just a question? Write to info@tsjek.app — a real person reads it and normally replies within two working days. Mention your device and what you saw; that saves a round trip.
Signing in without a password
Tsjek uses an 8-digit code sent to your mailbox, not a password. Enter your e-mail address, tap "Send me a code" and type the digits. The code is valid for one hour.
No mail? Check your spam folder, make sure you are using the same address you signed up with, and request a new code after a minute. If it stays quiet, write to us from that address.
I am not getting reminders
Reminders arrive as notifications. If they are switched off, Tsjek says so at the top of your timeline. Turn them on under Settings → Notifications → Tsjek.
Location reminders ("your Colruyt voucher is around the corner") additionally need the always location permission. Without it the other reminders keep working; only the nudge in the shop disappears.
The scan read something wrong
A photo becomes an item straight away and the AI fills in the fields afterwards. If something is off, open the item and tap Edit: what you type always wins over what we read. When Tsjek is unsure it shows a "Quick check?" marker with a few short questions.
Your scan photos are deleted automatically within seven days; the item and the attachment you keep stay.
A gift card or loyalty card at the till
Open the item and tap the barcode: it goes full screen at maximum brightness so the scanner catches it first time. This also works offline — your cards and vouchers are stored encrypted on your device.
Tsjek Plus, cancelling and refunds
Tsjek Plus is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). You manage and cancel it not with us but in the store where you bought it:
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Tsjek.
- Android: Google Play → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Tsjek.
After cancelling, Plus stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds run through Apple or Google — we cannot issue them ourselves, but we are happy to help with the request.
Taking your data with you, or deleting it
Under Account you will find "Export my data" and "Delete my account". Deleting is always possible from inside the app; the full explanation is at tsjek.app/en/delete-account.
What we store and why is in our privacy policy. In short: everything stays in the EU (Frankfurt), nothing is sold on, and the app contains no advertising or tracking networks.
Reporting a problem or suggesting something
Write to info@tsjek.app: what you did, what you expected, what happened instead. A screenshot helps a lot. Tsjek is young — much of what is in it exists because someone asked.
Who we are
Tsjek is a product of ToneNite BV, Bredestraat 37 A, 2580 Putte, Belgium — company number BE 0802.596.806. The terms of use cover the rest.
